Do you have old photographs, slides or postcards of the Glynneath & Cwmgwrach areas?
Would you like to archive and share your images ? We will arrange high quality scanning of your images (performed by Saturn Films 1969 professional digital imaging based in Cwmgwrach), provide you with a usb of the scans and store copies in our digital archive. The images would be annotated, ideally dated, and, with your written permission, published on our website. This will ensure that important old images of our locality are not lost but safeguarded for future generations. All too often people pass away and old photographs are thrown out but we have a use for them. Please help our Society to preserve our local heritage.
Mr. Roy Bowen has created a website featuring photographs of Glynneath, Cwmgwrach and the surrounding areas that formed part of his late father’s photographic collection. To see these photographs click on this link webowenphotography.com
So please visit us in Glynneath and discover our village and our local heritage. We are sure you will not be disappointed.
